Duplos by Lego

Ezra has really gotten into Legos, but they're just too complex for Jacob. A starter kit for Duplos would be just right though. This type of toy is also great for learning fine motor skills! Available at Amazon and many other places.

Bean Bag Shapes

This looks like a great way for Jacob to practice shapes and colors. I think he and Ezra could also play a game tossing these down the hall by the playroom! Available at Amazon or toy stores.

Rubbabu Magnetic Letters

Jacob received a Rubbabu toy for Christmas and it has been a big hit with both boys. The fuzzy, rubbery texture is very appealing and the colors are great. I think this would be a great way for Jacob to start learning his letters. Buy Here.

Never enough trucks

This is made by the same company as Ezra's Green Recycling Truck, which has been extremely sturdy. I have seen this at Blue Ridge Eco Shop and Hearthsong.
